Ted Sweeney has spent over 30 years gathering the skills and experiences in the financial services industry to help individuals and families address their financial needs. He joined LPL Financial in 2021 and was with Waddell & Reed, Inc. for 8 years, after serving over 20 years with Morgan Stanley (Citigroup/Smith Barney). Ted has held management positions with both firms.
Ted received a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Statistics from the University of Connecticut. During his tenure at Smith Barney, a Morgan Stanley predecessor firm, he served in supervisory roles their for offices in Washington D.C. and Chambersburg, Gettysburg, Wyomissing, and York, Pennsylvania.
Ted focuses on a comprehensive wealth management process with the goal of guiding clients toward meeting their financial and retirement goals.
Ted lives with his wife Kathleen in Auburn, PA at Lake Wynonah Community and enjoys boating and water skiing. Another of his passions is music; playing guitar with a classic rock band and playing on Sundays with his local church where he and his wife Kathi devote some of their time.
